Off we went, via Orlando and London, finally arriving in Copenhagen, Denmark. There we had a rental car waiting for us - a stick shift Ford Focus diesel. What fun driving in a foreign country. It was all kilometers and “dem fart”, which we learned means “we know how fast you are going!” There were many other street signs we never learned the meaning of. Anyway it really was pleasant driving to our seaside retreat that evening. We found a little grocery store and bought our first loaf of bread and some cheese – really European now.
